RESTRUCTURING AND EXTENSION OF A TOWN HOUSE IN MARSEILLE – FRANCE

France
Marseille
Individual dwellings
In the heart of the Pharo, a fairly dense area of Marseille, along a narrow and poorly lit street, a townhouse has been completely refurbished and extended. From the street, the house remains unchanged and anonymous. Once past the entrance, the interior is illuminated by a large skylight with a glass floor and a deep, recessed patio with a planted palm tree. On the patio side, as an extension of the existing refurbished building, a metal extension allows an extension of the living room and the bedrooms above with their interior balconies. The transparent facade; very flexible on the palm tree can open or close in a variety of ways, according to the seasons.
