Facilities and activities

People are gathering around the ITER project. Researchers from all horizons are settling around a technological pole of which the international school will be a symbol. This place will be a forum, the agora of a planetary education; its architecture will evoke a circular form, the universal movement of a nebula, the infinite cycle of atoms around which a technological future is played out.

This ensemble, conceived on a human and urban scale, takes on the size of a new district in the city of Manosque. A simple, convivial layout, symbolic of gathering and protection, it refers to the "square" emblematic of Mediterranean culture. The school will extend an urban fabric with its structure, its heart and its green spaces, as if its needs joined those of a community. The school curricula will follow along a circulatory spiral. The school will be protected from the Mistral wind, but also from the outside world to ensure the safety of the students.
