POSITIV ENERGIE URBAN PLANING IN AWAJISHIMA - JAPAN

On 10 hectares, a small city is designed on a steep massif of hills. From the relief, the topographic forms of the streets, the pedestrian squares, suggest the places of residence, professional activities, teaching, leisure... There will be a hotel in the form of a theatre, parking towers and movie screens, a swimming pool stretched like a canal to pass through the city while swimming, workplaces stretching along the forest. The "autonomous" ensemble will use renewable energies; solar panel roofs, windmills, geothermal energy.
